Crown Lifting is the process of removing or reducing lower limbs to raise the lower canopy of the tree. Doing so can allow more light as you are removing the limbs which are causing an obstruction.
Thinning is where we will remove selective branches throughout the crown to remove density without reducing the size of the tree. This will reduce wind sail and again allow more light through. We also offer a reduction service where we’re able to reduce the tree in its entirety to improve its form.
You may decide to use one of these three options if there is a tree or set of trees around your property that is starting to cause obstruction and getting too big. The process allows the tree to remain in place but gives you the flexibility to decide how it looks.
